Select Your Course

Healthcare providers, regardless of discipline, can be admitted to any course. However, please note that courses for dental healthcare providers are not assigned Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits through the University of Manitoba nor Casey Hein and Associates, LLC. Therefore, individuals are individually responsible to inquire whether or not these courses would be accepted for credit through their own licensing authorities. All courses on OralHealthEd.com are assigned Continuing Dental Education credits through Casey Hein and Associates, LLC, an approved AGD-PACE provider.

Learners should take the opportunity to review course descriptions before registration.

Some courses are offered free-of-charge. For courses with fees, learners must submit online payment, through secured area access and merchant verification. For fee-based courses, learners must ‘submit’ the order for purchase of a course (with fees), in order to access the course.

Learn at Your Own Pace

Learners can access our library of online continuing education courses 24 hours per day at their convenience.

Learners may proceed through a course at their own pace by logging in to return to the place he/she left off, anytime in the future within the period of time the course is hosted on OralHealthEd.com. This time period, with expirations date (if applicable), will be posted in the course description. Generally, courses are posted for a minimum of 3 years.

Course Assessment

Generally, courses which are longer than 1 hour will be divided into multiple units. At the end of each unit, there will be practice questions. These same questions will appear on the posttest. After completing all the learning units within each course, the posttest will be given online and electronically scored, providing learners with immediate feedback. Learners are also asked to complete a brief evaluation of the course.

A ‘Verification of Course Completion’ document will be electronically generated upon completion of the posttest. Learners can download, save and/or print copies of this document.

Reporting CE Credit to Licensing Authorities

It is recommended that learners contact their own licensing authorities for specific rules and regulations governing continuing education (CE). Learners may use the verification of course completion document to submit their CE credits to the appropriate organizations. Learner records of CDE and CME completed courses will be maintained for a period of 7 years.

On behalf of Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) members, Casey Hein & Associates will submit electronically course completion verification to the AGD. Members should allow at least 30 days for a record of participation to be added to his/her transcript.

Hardware and Software Requirements

To access these courses, learners will need a reliable access to the internet (high-speed internet is highly recommended).
